Windwaker question

I am fairly new to the Wii technology and I was just wondering if I go ahead and buy another copy of windwaker for myself is it acutomatically compatable with the Wii controller? or would I need a gamecube controller? please get back to me on this fast. thanks.

You would need the GC controller for all GC games.
