Wireless Interent on the Wii

because i believe that my ds wifi adapter dosnt have enough speed to play online games properly, i am concidering getting a wireless router instead of running a cord all the way through my house to downstairs where my wii lives. I was just wondering if you needed to purchase a seperate wireless usb adapter for the wii or does the wii have the technology to sense the signals without the adapter?

The USB adapter should do fine, and there's really nothing to worry about, but if you really want to go wireless, then you can do that without any additional hardware at the Wii end.

If you plan on buying a router then you wont need additional hardware.
