World Championship Poker online?

Is the game: World Championship Poker: Featuring Howard Lederer All in online for the wii or just for the other systems? I don't understand why anyone would buy this or the other wii poker game if they weren't online.

I tried looking for reviews for the game but couldn't find any other than ones for the other systems so I couldn't figure out if it was online or not.

Thanks for informing us, I can't believe I never heard of this game (World Championship Poker). I'm a huge poker fan, so I might buy it. For online, I think that would be a great addition for a future poker game on Wii. Great feature.

I was going to pick up a poker game for the Wii the other day 19.99$.
If this other one is online though I will surely rent, maybe even buy.

i totally agree...what is the point in playing poker as a video game especially when there are online poker sites where you can play better quality players using play money or even real money for those a bit more adventurous....the thrill of playing 9 other players and winning the table to take away 100s of $$$$ when you've only paid $70 can not be beat :smilewinkgrin:

I assume its just for play money? This doesn't make sense to me either. Maybe if there was a wii championship poker leader board or tournament or something. If its only for fun i don't see it succeeding.

I am 100% certain that it is only for 'play money' but I might consider getting it if it was online, but I can't tell from what I've read about it. I have a feeling that it is not but you never know!

The game World Championship Poker is currently not out yet, here is the little info I've found: http://au.wii.ign.com/articles/746/746481p1.html . This info dosen't mention that its online.

The other poker game on the Wii is, World Series of Poker: Tournament of Champions -- 2007 Edition. This game was given a 4 from IGN, you can check out the review here: http://au.wii.ign.com/articles/761/761372p1.html and its not online.
