Worst time your Wii console crashed/froze?

I was playing NHL 2K10 one Sunday last month. Well, I was in Franchise Mode and I chose it to have both my teams and the NHL teams. I made it to the playoffs but not to the Finals. And it said the Boston Bruins won the Stanley Cup. Then it said "Press + to continue." I pressed +, but the music stopped, the Wii crashed and a really loud buzzing noise was made. The only way to turn it off was to do a hard reboot (hold down the power button until red).

That's my story. What was the worst time your Wii crashed?

well sometimes when I want to send a message to one of my friends on the wii it freezes but the music is still playing but it never happend to me while I was playing a wii game

2k sports games are NOTORIOUS for crashing so please don't blame the wii

same thing happened to me on mlb 2k8 and nhl 2k9. okami crashed once out of 50hrs pretty good but known to occasionally crap out. so the tread should be which "game designers are too lazy to prevent freezes". or "stop buying 2ksports." my wii is 3yrs old and never locks up during playing say zelda or brawl etc. and that's just my stance don't mean to sound angry ...
