Well I have a WRT54GS Version 6 router and both a Nintendo Wii and a Nintendo DS. I'd like to set up WiFi for both. My Wii worked when I first got it then I got a DS and it didn't work, tried changing the settings using online guides but this still doesn't work. I don't know if my Wii still works (haven't tried it yet). I have not been able to download a firmware update for my router as the download is a .bin and I can't figure out what to download it with.

Would appreciate some help.

okay, lets start from the begining, what do you want this router to do?

what does your IP settings say in your router config?

what did you eat for breakfast today?????!~!!!?!?!?!!??!??

i have drank 2 much !?!?!?!?!???!?!

"goodbye"

Hey I have a ds and a wii, the ds only works with wep encryption and the wii works with wpa and wep, so you router has to be set to wep encryption if you wanna use the ds then it sould work

go ahead and download the bin file to your pc
goto into the default linksys router setup server which should be 192.168.1.1 with your web browser
you can select to update your router firmware in there
choose the bin file

Heheh, well, for now I think I'll axe this thread. I neglected to check if the game I was playing was WiFi enabled and it is, but just for short range play amongst multiple DS's. If problems occur again, then I'll know where to go
