doesnt matter to me, i have a pro with a 120gb hard drive anyways and i've had it for years but it wouldve been nice to just get an elite for 100 dollars less than what i paid for mine. not to mention the 150 dollar hard drive i bought lol
Doesn't seem to have dropped in the UK yet. I hope it doesn't as I only recieved an Xbox Elite about a month ago!

This is good news, especially since I've been looking into upgrading from my old 20gb pro to an elite for a while now. Good for Microsoft as well since the PS3 just dropped 100 bucks as well.
The 360 Elite will be $300 on August 30th in most stores.

What do you plan to do with all of your downloads and save game data from the old HDD?
He could always get a transfer kit from Microsoft or buy one himself from an online or local retailer.
