YOUR OPINION: What Do You Think Is The Best Game Or Game Series On Any Format Ever

i would of thought someone would say halo guess not

this is very hard.... too many good games i would have to say
1)Battalion wars
2)Beyond Good & Evil
3)Legend Of Zelda
4)Animal crossing

For me these are three of the games I like the most for each console:
NES: Kid icarus, Super Mario Bros. Super Mario Bros. 3
SNES: Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country 3, Star Fox
N64: Ocarina of Time, Super Mario 64, Star Fox 64
GC: Super Smash Bros. Melee, F-Zero GX, Wind Waker, Resident Evil 4
Wii: Twilight Princess, Wario Ware: Smooth Moves, Sonic and the Secret Rings(for now)

and I have to say that Zelda is the series I like the most

Silent Hill
I'm a fan of the horror genre; both film and game.

Final Fantasy 7 or 9. FF7 is sooo goood and 9 is so beautiful. I've gotta get a better copy of these games, my disks are scratched and missing.

Final Fantasy IX was a waste of money. My vote ultimately goes to Final Fantasy VII. I'll try to break it down by system. Some will purely be my personal favorites. I don't think you can righteously say one game or series is the best.

NES-ExciteBike
SNES-Smash TV
Genesis-Sonic the Hedgehog without a doubt
Gameboy-Torn between Tetris and Pokemon Red/Blue
Playstation-Final Fantasy VII or Resident Evil. Though there was a 3D fighting game supposed to come out on the PS that I was waiting and waiting for. I think it was called Ill. Never made it to the States. I think it was deemed too bloody.
N64-Mario 64 or Zelda OoT (Never played either really)
Dreamcast-Powerstone
Playstation 2-God of War
XBox-Halo
360-Gears of War
Wii-Zelda TP is the best at the moment, but I think Galaxy will overtake it
Playstation 3-Lets not kid ourselves...there are no good games out for the PS3
PC-Half Life...though my favorite is Final Fantasy XI

1. Street Fighter
2. Tony Hawk

Ya these arn't the best games but they are the most fun. And I own at both!

It would have to be a really close call between the Legend of Zelda and Half-Life series. Metal Gear is up there also.

I would say:

1. Elder Scrolls 4: The Oblivion (PC)
2. Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii)
3. Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic (XBOX)
4. Ninja Gaiden (XBOX)
5. Halo 1 & 2 (XBOX)

Lol, does two games even count as a series? I thought a series was 3 or more...

I'm not sure I want to say Splinter Cell but for fighting games I would say DOA.
