I'm noticing the time it takes everyone to finish zelda is a bit of a hot topic.

Here's a challenge: who can get the quickest time?

I haven't finished tp yet, but once i have i rekn i'm gonna go through and speed run it. I've left the game on pause for ages too many times and thats just made my playtime rediculously high this first time.

SO the rules are [feel free to use a walkthrough] complete zelda tp in the quickest time possible with everything collected.

I can imagine if you know it backwards and work out exactly where you have to go, we could get some damn low times. Skipping cut scenes, skipping all talking, knowing which item to use all the time. Sprinting on Epona or dashing as the Wolf or in water all the time.

So go for it, screenshots of your final time! LOL.

    GO!

Took me a day and a half. Hours played was 32. I rushed through the game the first time I played it, I'm playing through it again collcetiing everything in my wake.

    I'm doing the opposite now.
But I'm not just playing this, maybe every few days I'll play for a couple hours.

Should take me like 30 hours

im on about 34hrs and i've just finished the dungeon in the dessert. I am taking my time with everything, exploring as much as i can, fishing, playing the mini-games, etc. I don't want to rush through it at all!!! I don't care about competing with kids on the internet over how fast i can finish a game, that takes away from what Zelda is all about.

I'm with Wolf on this one. I find that if I rush or hurry, it's harder to get totally 100% submersed in the game, thereby diminishing the amount of fun. Zelda is an epic, and I take my time to thoroughly enjoy it.

That being said, if I were to speed run it, I think I could beat it in, say.....48 minutes :ciappa:
