Zelda - The Movie

I came across this the other day on YouTube and decided to research it a bit further. Legends and Adventure - A Zelda Fan Site

It looks like some Zelda fan site is making an Unofficial Zelda movie and plan to release it. You can watch the trailer for the movie on YouTube if you would like.

Now, I'm not much of a movie critic, but I know what I like and I don't like this. However I am a massive Zelda fan and this is such a poor attempt at turning a much loved classic game into a film. Not only does Link look like he belongs in some hair product advert, but the general feel is very cheesy.

Now for a short legal thought... There is no way in hell Nintendo are going to let them release this as a film (which they plan to do). All I can say is, "Prepare to be sued so badly".

Shame that Nintendo have yet to bring Zelda to the big screen... I could imagine it with a Lord of the Rings feel.

Just wondered what everyone elses thoughts are.

Looks gay. (no offense) but I don't think they should make it, unofficially and all. And if they did it shouldn't include actors, it should be computer animated.

Simple, dont hire real actors.....I dont know if well ever find someone that will look cool in Link's suit! This isnt a real movie thats going to get to movie theaters, so dont worry! .............WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!!!!

The real sad fact is, it looks like they've actualy tried and put effort in. It's quite tempting to contact Nintendo saying "Help.... Some idiots are about to ruin Zelda for everyone!"

Fan movies blow. Hopefully the indie Half-Life 2 movie is going to be somewhat decent. Unfortunatel Zelda will probably nevermake it to the big screen. Nintendo just doesn't want to do it.

Im not sure if im loving this, or hating it.. I like the idea, and some things are very attractive.. like hyrule castle.. i think i would probably buy it.. It may not be very good, but think about it.. its better than the old one with the girl playing link.. right?

The zelda cartoons were the bomb, and unfortunately they bombed. DAMN yOU SUPER MARIO BRO's
