After learning the last move, he tells link, 'Goodbye my child'. He also hints around that only those of his bloodline can learn the techniques he has given him.

It's gotta be an ancestor of link. I, honestly, think that it is link from Oot. Nintendo has announced that this game takes place about 100 years after Oot, so why not? Yes, he is a bit big and burly.. But you know. Maybe they just wanted to beef him up a little. ^^;

I'm sticking with it being Oot Link.

Edit: I forgot to mention my theory that TP Link is the son or grandson of Oot Link.

Your all wrong.
If you haven't noticed, the golden wolf (which is probably only a dilusion) knocks Link unconscience. He learns these moves in an unconscience state. Therefore, it is obvious, that he is only "unlocking" things he already knows, probably because Link shares the bloodline of the Hero from many years ago.

Its Sora from kingdom hearts 2 because at the end of that game it shows a trailer for kingdom hearts 3 with guys that look like that guy with the big sword and hey mabey its a keyblade!

Wolfpac has a point. Though i think it's the last hero. Obviously the master sword accepted link as it's master because hes the next hero . I think that only the heroes can pull the master sword out of the stone pillar thingy. The master sword is so cool. It's thin and purply/blue and.... cooooooooooooool.
