Eiji Aonuma has already confirmed there won't be any extensive voice acting, i.e. it's like in previous Zeldas, where the characters just laugh, scream, grunt, etc.

Hmmm... I remember Miyamoto mentioned that voice acting ruins the expression of the game and he preferred the means of communication in the game to be text (like reading a book) so that the user creates an internal dialogue in his head while reading the text.
Voice acting sort of ruins the effect that words themselves can have on the reader. Some people might like Voice Acting as it suits their kind of conversation while others may not as they have a different viewpoint on the type of conversation they were expecting.

If there WAS voice acting, (Not saying there will be) I think they should voice act for everyone except Link... Anyone remembered what happened when Link got a voice in the CDI games? Ugh... *shudder*

Agreed.
Voice acting would either wreck the game or make it alot better.
Holpefully if they DO have voice acting they'll do a good job on it.
But truthfully, I think Nintendo sucks when it comes to that.
