getting across purple bog/fog
I'm already at the part of the game where you need to escort the Zoran Prince, and upon reviewing some FAQ @ GameFAQs, I realized that I missed the first piece of heart in the game, which is in the northwestern section of the purple bog/fog area. Is there anyway I can get across past this purple mist to get that piece of heart, any help is appreciated.

take your lanturn and swing it to make the fog go away ( do so constently)

hahaha I shoulda remembered that the monkey stole my lantern in the beginning of the game and then proceeded to swing it around like a flail constantly...stupid me
