Okay. I was just in the level when you have to go in the mines that are full of lava and fire, and my shield burned off. Where can I get a new one?

Get out of that place»Go to some store in the near Village»Buy a shield.

Yes, go back to Kakariko Village and buy the "official" Hyrule (metal) shield from the little boy/girl (?).
