Not Life or death but an explanation could be in use=]
On the side of the stone bridge where the statue is where you fight that ugly dood on the hog(the side that isnt next to hyrule field), i noticed a ledge you can get to using the clawshot but there seems to be no way to get to the next ledge/cliff

Could someone please tell me what that is or how to get to it!

on the other side of the bridge theres one of those statues you can control you have to take control of it and bring it to the other side and make it fall in there so you can jump on it

If you mean the north end of the bridge where the statue is, then walk north and check the ledges on the left. You will see a Golden bug. There is a clawshot tile there which takes you into a cave with a heart peice and a 100 rupee chest, the clawshot mark you could see earlier is on the exit route from that cave.
