Snake a Pikachu are both bad: Link is also bad.
Mario-Sonic-Samus-Meta Knight are my characters Link maybe just because I'm a fan.

All characters are good if you know how to use them. I just happen to be pretty good with pikachu.

Super Sonic For The Win
|
Icarus is one the best characters if you know how to use his gliding powers.
Especially Snake, he will pwn so much butt if you learn how to use his moves at the right time. Sonic is almost invulnerable if you can control his immense speed, because if you can control his speed it will be VERY difficult for you to hit him. Link, Mario and Samus are just for people who just like spamming or don't know exactly how to use moves.

I dont like Meta Knight but he's good.
Kid Icarus (Pit) I hate him, but I might use him because of his amazing recovery abilities.
