I started out great in the Lakebed Temple. Had two keys and somehow managed to use one in the wrong place- now I can't get to the locked room next to the water bubble creature. I've tried dropping from the cog room
platform onto one of those thing hanging from a chain (not moving yet) and jumping but can't seem to jump far enough to reach this door. -I know there is a key there. Can I hit targets with a bomb arrow before I have the clawshot to raise the water? Thanks for any help, I've been stuck for a week and I can't bear the thought of starting over again. Thanks- Rudi

Thanks jobobob. I know from the cog room you can drop down onto one of
those platforms hanging from a chain (that aren't moving yet because I don't
have the key to get the water flowing!) I've been trying to jump across to a door where you get the key before the miniboss and claw-shot. I don't know if I'm wasting my time trying to jump too wide a gap. Tonight I saw a you-tube video where a guy used the gale boomerang and "jumped into" the swirling gale and it carried Link over the gap. I may give that a try tomorrow. I keep trying. Thanks again.

If you have the compass then check all the rooms that have a treasure chest. If you don't have the compass then check every room in the temple.

Well I've even got the darn guide for the game and I still made the mistake of using my key in the wrong door. And to make matters worse, it took me months of trying, giving up, and trying again to get that flippin wagon thru so I could get to the Lakebed. Oh well...
