should zelda be the first game i buy for wii?

no game will ever be as good as oot, but its the best game for wii exept smash

Must Have Games For Wii if you don't have that many people to play with:

1. Super Smash Brothers Brawl
2. Mario Kart Wii
3. Super Mario Galaxy
4. Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
5. Metroid Prime 3 : Corruption

Must Have Games For Wii If You Have ALOT Of People To Play With:
1. Super Smash Brothers Brawl
2. Mario Kart Wii
3. Mario Party 8
3 and 4: Rock Band and Guitar Hero 3 (Depends on which you like best.)

For Rock Band and Guitar Hero 3, try both, see which one you like. Actually, don't bother getting GH3, wait until Guitar Hero 4 comes out in late 2008.

This is just my opinion, but I HIGHLY recommend that you rent or try these games first before buying them.
