Hey, Ive completed the whole vessel of light thing for Kakariko, and headed back to Ordon Village, but ive realised I missed a howling stone while i was transformed, so does that mean i simply may do without that particular skill or what!? Help appreciated!

I'd probably say you could go back and get it, but I was lucky when I went through the game first time and collected all of the howling stones. Your best off just checking a Walkthrough (I know, it sounds dodgy but the people who write them tend to have gone through the game several times).
