Ok I am stuck with opening the gate and releasing the monkey. I can't open the gate by hitting windmills with a boomerang. I looked at the video below and it looks simple, but still, I can't open it. What am I doing wrong?

Look at the big Z on the floor and set your boomerang to follow the path of the floor plan.

Can't see the big Z on the floor. I see it in front of the first gate in the temple but in front of the second one, there is none ...

You are locking on to each of the 4 windmills before letting go aren't you ?

There is only two windmills where I am. Look at the end of the video.

Try locking onto each windmill more than once. That's what I remember doing and it worked fine.

I lock each windmill twice and i tried positioning the fifth lock everywhere I could imagine but still nothing. In the video, it looks quite easy but in reality, it's not working. I tried all possible combination I could think of...

Right just had a quick look at the video, if it is the monkey i think you're talking about as far as i can remember it is as easy as just locking on to the two windmills and voila it opening. Are you holding down the button long enough to gather up enough wind? Stupid question i know, but i don't know why else it couldn't be working! He actually locks on to four places in that video and i can't recall why you'd need to lock on to all four, but possibly there are two other things you need to hit.

And just incase, this is the game guide on gamespot, the second paragraph in the "two more monkeys section" says:

'Head back to Room 5 and unlock the western door leading to Room 14. Proceed through the small cave here and climb the vines to find the last monkey; use your boomerang to hit both of the windmills above its cage to free it. '

If you now tell me you've already done it, i shall keeel you!!! =P
