when your in the monky temple wich platform do you get on and how. i'v been stuck there 4 ages(  can any1 help

I haven't been able to play the Wii for a few days now, but I'm in the water temple and stuck... >_< Haven't gotton very far.
Uhm, ok, I'm in the first room you use a key for, on the top floor I think? And in there is a door that leads you on the top of that big thing that has the first room you go into under neath. Uh, probably not making much sense. But I have no clue what to dooo.
Sorry, I can't explain it. If anyone knows what I'm talking about can you help me out a bit please?

~Possible Glitch~
Okay, first of all, I have checked many walkthroughs and have found no solution to my problem. I think it may be a glitch. I am at the 8th Temple (Palace of Twilight). I found both of the sol ball things and took them to the entrance and gained the light power into my sword. I made it all the way to the boss. Some reason by the time I made it there though, I lost my light power. I would use the boomerang then slash him but my slashes wouldn't hurt him. Since I was making no progress I shut it off. Unfortunately, I saved right after I entered the boss's room so I still don't have light power in my sword even after I restarted. I have tried looking for the sol orbs and going to the entrance where I got the power it they aren't there. I can't recharge my sword. I have also tried leaving the temple and coming back, and I have tried dying. Neither work. PLEASE HELP! I would really appreciate it. I don't want to start my game over if I don't have to.

I'm nearly at the 1st temple and i just killed the giant spider with the exploding bug things and there's about 3 ways to go from the center podeum and there is a big chest above me hanging from a web. Theres rope above each way to go but where do i go and how??????/
