Is there going to be another Zelda game for the Wii?

According to rumour, they have been developing the game for quite some time now - still, Zelda games are lengthy projects so that doesn't mean it's coming out any time soon.

Also, about finding a site about a new Zelda game - that's a hoax.

Oh, and while I'm on the subject of hoaxes (and I don't know when I'll next be on the subject of hoaxes), don't believe the hoax (yes it's a hoax), about the futuristic Zelda set in the future with futuristic stuff because it is a hoax... hoax.

it might take a while but it's safe to assume there will be two zelda games for the wii. There were two for the NES, more than two for the gameboy, two for the N64, two for the Gamecube, and seeing how Twilight Princess was actually a gamecube game to begin with that was just ported to the Wii, then I'm almost certain that they will make a Wii exclusive to fully capitalize upon the wii's features and controls.

I hesitate to call Twilight Princess "for the Wii". Since it was a port.

I agree with Sremick completely. If they had plans to make another Zelda game, they would have started some sort of planning probably before Twilight Princess was released.

Well, if there was going to be a new Zelda game they should definitely include the Twilight story (sequel to TP), maybe have Zant come back? Or better yet let us play as him

Also I'm pretty sure Twilight Princess was a launch release, which means it would've been finished by early-mid 2006, which means they would have already started on the new Zelda title(if they had plans to make one back then). So I'm hoping to see one late this year to somewhere in 2009.

I do agree with you though. I doubt very much we will see Zant again.

There totally has to be. I can see it happening for sure. Zelda is far too widely successful for them not to make another one for the Wii. They'll probably make it Wii-only this time; I think the only reason they had it available on GC last time was because not everybody had Wii yet.
