Is it just me or did Link look a bit like Michael Jackson? Particularly on the reveal.
I think this is the best adaptation of a game to movie so far, even if it was fake. The one thing these Hollywood people need to realize, is the game-to-movie formula has yet to be successful because they have really done two things horribly wrong...
1) They often exclude the creative minds behind the popular game and instead just secure the rights and then use their own crews to make what they THINK would be good.
2) They hardly ever incorporate anything that really made the game popular in the first place. They try to re-create it for an audience that doesn't really know about it and as a result end up changing everything that identifies it as what it really is.
That's what they did with Resident Evil, look how freaking different the first game and first movie are? How did they get that movie from the game? Just bone-headed movie crews assuming they know what people want, and failing miserably. They did it with Mario Bros too, changed EVERY SINGLE THING that made the Mario Bros popular...the only thing that stayed the same or even remotely familiar was the Bob-bombs. THAT is why video game movies fail, not because the source material is hard to adapt, but because the film crews want to change too much when they do their adaptation.

change how link and ganondorf looked and itd be pretty sweet. watching a movie with those two characters looking like that...i wouldnt be able to help but laugh...if this was a movie fighting the bosses would be absolutley epic! just look at the 2 seconds with the spider boss!
it also really didnt make sense at one part. where Zelda leaves him in the Temple of Time saying it'll be 7 years later when he comes out, if it were following OoT wouldnt he be a kid?
