This has got to be the hardest F**King thing ever... there is way to much sh*t thats going on the screen.... riding the horse (that seems slow as hell and is constantly stopping) trying to kill the raiders... and what seems to be the hardest of them all Killing that god forsaken bird... I don't know how you people that beat the game got passed this part... i don't see myself getting passed this AT ALL...

use your boomerang to kill the bird. i heard that it is more effective

It took me 3-4 tries to beat it. Its not that hard. Focus on the birds because they are the ones dropping the bombs, than if your cart isnt on fire, focus on the orges then.

Kill the birds, save the wagon.

Ok, all Heroes puns aside. Focus on the birds. The boar riding goblins are never ending. You kill 'em and more will come back. The birds are the key. Shoot 'em before ther are able to drop the boms to make the wagon run in circles and you're golden.

i took literally like 2 hrs doing this one 5 minute part yesterday. it took me awhile to shoot the guy twice without falling off the bridge since i only had 2 hearts to work with, then I ran around that plain foreeeever.

They wouldnt stop running in circlels.
Doing the spin attack while on Epona worked alot better then wasting arrows IMO for getting rid of those pigs.

I don't know how I finally won it, but they finally stopped running in circles and went to the last gate.

Actually, it IS that hard. Most people find it very frustrating and difficult. I finally beat it but not after swearing to every god known and unknown and developing a massive headache.

Games are supposed to be fun and challenging, not borderline impossible. They should have toned this part down a bit imho.

the problem that i had for a while was not understanding the usefulness of z-targeting. its a lot easier killing the birds if you wait for the yellow arrow to appear above their heads, tap z, and then tap b to quickly fire an arrow at them. i died 2 times before realizing that i could do this. after that, the rest of the ride to kakariko is cake.

It Just Toook Me One Try To Beat It... The Birds Didn't Drop Bombs Actually, WHich Is Wierd...

I tried for a LONG time to beat this section of the game. I couldn't get the boomerang to work, though. The z-lock with the boomerange is tricky.
The cart barely caught on fire. The thing is that you don't have to KILL the birds. If you hit them with an arrow, they won't drop any bombs. The z-lock works for arows like it does with the slingshot. So hit all the boar riders, hit the birds, and you'll be clear in no time.

Once you joust the guy on the bridge unlock the gate and ride into the field. Stay behind the Carriage killing the boar riders as they shoot the arrows onto the carriage,they cause it to catch on fire. When it catches on fire, make epona go faster, wait till the carriage is targetable and use your boomerang to put it out. When the birds come make sure your bow is on the directional arrows and once again make epona go faster, target the birds and drop them.

I did it first try, if the wagon is diverted due to the bombs just follow and repeat the steps to protect it.

Well thank goodness I'm not the only one who has had massive problems with that part. I was more frustrated with the fact that the carriage kept turning around when the bird was dropping those bombs. I finally figured out that is where the bombs were coming from, so I ran ahead of the carriage, let it burn until I was able to shoot the bird out of the sky with bow and arrow + Z-Targeting. Then I put the fire out on the carriage.

The first time I made it all the way to the end with 1/2 heart left and right as I was going to open the gate, I got killed and had to do it all over again.

=\ i dont mean to be insultive but im kinda surprised that many people had trouble there. i had no difficulties killing that bird at all.

I thought that part was rather easy...all I gotta say is the bow/arrows and z targeting is your friend

i agree with an earlier post- this was much too hard. could've been a bit easier and still a challenge

i found that you can Z target the birds with your bow and arrow. killed them quick.

One (or maby two..) words: Z-Targeting. But on the wagon (if it catches on fire), just get close and hit it with the Gale Boomerang. And dont use the speed boosts when you can actually see the freaking cart! Its not fast, just catch up with it, unless its dangerously on fire, then use one or maby even two speed boosts, but no more! And for the Boar riding beasts... USE THE FRUCKING SWORD!!! WAY more effective than using arrows, since you can get like 5 out at a time.

That part was rather easy. I just let the wagon burn and immediately removed the flames. Didn't need to kill any enemies actually.

It Took Me Like 20 Times To Win! The Second Part Was Easy Because Half The Raiders Were Stuck So I Pushed The Orc Off Rode The Boar Off And Whacked Its A** So It Fell Down The Gorge! Then I Delt With The Bird And That Was That! ( I couldnt Hit The Bird With The Arrow! But I Hit It With The Slingshot Just Fine!)
