Agreed. Every so often I'll have what I see as a bad game/bad day, and for that game/day, I'll hate the game  seems somewhat natural.

 both twitch based FPSs
yah, gears is probably one of the slowest shooters out there, i guess some people dont like that, but you can still circle-strafe in shotgun battles
