Gears of War comming to Mac!

The "X-box hit" Gears of War, along with UT3 will be coming to the mac. Featuring all the bonus material, and online play as the PC verison.
This is great news. As I don't have to buy an X-box anymore

Can someone tell me a rough estimate of the system requirements for this game?
I'm probably gonna upgrade the computer, at the moment the best I've got is a Toshiba Satellite Pro...:
- Centrino Duo (Don't have a clue what that is)
- 512MB RAM
- ATI Mobility Radeon X1400
- Says something about "Genuine Intel(R) CPU T2400 @ 1.83GHz
But yea, would be simple if I'd just need to upgrade the RAM thing, any suggestions on what to do?

Add a gig of ram and you should be able to run the PC version just fine. And you have the Dual-Core processor.

Cool, thanks! You can upgrade the ram on a laptop right? Not very good at this stuff, my brother told me that you can't upgrade a lot of things on a laptop

Yes you can.
But since you just mentioned the computer is a laptop, that means the x1400 ati card you have is a Mobility card. I bet you have the same laptop at me. And the mobility cards aren't all that great for gaming. So I am not positive it will run well on your laptop.

Worth a try, and an extra gig ram would probably help my laptop out a bit, kinda slow sometimes

Because I'm vagrant obviously detective paintballer.
And honestly it all depends on what they are doing for the game. It would probably look equal to the 360. 4gb is a bit unecessary.
The messed up thing is that for Crysis they actually recommend 4 gb and a quadcore processor.

Can I just add 1gb ram or does it have to be like.. 2 x 512mb or 2 x 1gb or 2 x 256mb... or can it be 512mb and 1gb together?

DDR ram doesn't require you to have equal ram in the slots.

Didn't I see a thread about it coming to PC too? What do they still need more money, 360 fans aren't enough? Amazing!

Well, I guess it is really just about who makes it and how they sell it. Considering it came from the 360, I am pretty much against it. I see micro$oft as today's software nazi's. No way would I buy anything they make. Pff.
The point being, I don't care to chainsaw people, I don't have some kind of defect in my brain like the majority of ill-minded children these days. People wonder why I don't like Resident evil as well. I just tell them its because I like silent hill, an actual "thriller/drama/whatever you want to call it/scary".
"Zombies" are not "scary". Shoot them, burn them, blow them up, they're all the same. It just got sick when the zombies were "living people in a mind-controlled village". After I was told that about RE4 I just considered the entire genre (RE) as someones insane fantasy about the world today. I don't really care for goring "living people in a mind controlled village". Nor do I see the use of a chainsaw in warfare, except for immature warfare where they can't aim so they spray and prey. Sadly, I choose the world where a decisive aiming shot can put down any chainsaw wielding maniac. But sadly in games today, bullets can fly through the face, heart, other essential areas, and only take some "health points".
Sure, I guess you can say its not my cup of tea.
Games have just been crap for so many years no and no one really talks about why. Its because the industry is finally compared to the movie industry, which means all they want to do is make money for the crap they puke on us. Do I have to mention that patches use to not exist?
