Wierd, Capcom is the one suing. They want a court to make it be known that Dead Rising does not infringe Dead Romero's Dawn of the Dead.

I think one of the reasons why they don't infringe copyright laws are just like when people make parodys. The names and places aren't exactly the same, then there's also the fact that there's a thing on the front of Dead Risings boxart saying the game has no connection with Dawn of the Dead.

It has a warning on the game box saying that it is not affiliated with Dawn of the Dead.
