I have chosen to be an adept and i was wondering if i cant zoom in with the sniper because of my class or am i missing something

Have you read the manual? do you know how to zoom in on a sniper rifle? if you do, and it's not working, then your class is not skilled in sniping. Although I think every class can at least zoom in with the sniper. Try pressing forward on the D-pad, while holding the left trigger.

Maybe it is your class. I wouldn't know though, as I picked infiltrator.

No I haven't, I'm not very far to be honest. I don't get a lot of time to play the game.

You can't zoom in with sniper as an Adept because you are not trained in using a sniper nor can you train in it.

I have beaten the game as a Soldier and recently decided to play it all over again, this time playing every side quest as Adept on Hardcore. Im currently level 44.

But if you just started and you are wondering if Sniper are good, my answer is yes. I used to love using snipers, the more points put into it, the more damage and the easier they are to use. Also assassination is great! But so is using lift and singularity
