I saw a PS3 version of GTA4 being played at GAME on my way home today and I couldn't tell the difference from it and the 360 version.

wow. single player is okay, not a huge fan but the mutliplayer is pretty tighttttt. all though it can get unfair when 1 team ends up having tons of good weapons with armor and you spwan and are instantly hunted giving you time to get either a weapon or armor.

The only issues would be frame rate and texture pop up.

I've ignored texture pop up because I'm always moving at a fast speed inside the car. It's a lot better than Mass Effect's.

I've got it for the PS3, any point in making a similar thread in the PS3 section? I doubt it, so I'm going to post here.

So I pre-ordered the special edition meaning I would need to sign for it as it's a big parcel, and it was coming today (obviously) but no-one would be in. So before I went to uni at like half 9, I went to put a note in the porch saying to leave it with next door but to my surprised the card was there saying they had already attempted delivery at 8:45am but no-one answered : / I was asleep at that time, and so was my old man, and we didn't hear the doorbell so I was gutted! I thought I'd have to wait until tomorrow since the post office closes at 1 so I wouldn't be able to go and collect it. But my dad went to see if it was already back at the post office and again to my surprise it was!

However, saying all that, I still haven't opened it. The big package is still sitting, unopened, behind me. I decided not to even open it until I've finished this project. I'm doing so well, I should have it finished tomorrow so after the [hugely important massive] game I'm going to hammer it, I can't wait!

My brother has the PS3 version. I haven't seen it yet, but he came in my room and said "I ain't even gonna lie, but yours looks better". So I duno if PS3 looking better is true. And we both play the game on 720p, except he has a 26" widescreen LCD and I have a 17" Plasma monitor.

Hmm, I guess you'd need the same TV to properly compare. But whatever difference there is in the two, it is bound to be very minimal, and something that wouldn't take away from the game that supposedly doesn't look as good.

Just spent about two or so hours running around the game with Mitch2025. Was quite fun finding different locations, vehicles, weapons etc.

Im having problems getting online games. I keep getting disconnected :/
