This is a little off topic, but how fun is GTA4, and why? I'd really like to know, I've never played a GTA game. Also IMO, it doesn't seem like much fun personally; it just seems like a lot of cursing. I'm not trying to flame; I just would like to know.

It's fun, so far GTA4 is ranked #1 and #2 in gamerankings for both PS3 and 360 versions above Zelda: OOT.

If it's not fun to you and you can't realize what the fuss is about, it's your loss :P Just like anyone who thought Zelda: OOT sucked or was overrated.

I don't think you heard me quite right, I've never played the game and i wanted to know what the "defining features" of it are, if you will. I'm sure there's a reason why it's so ridiculously popular, and I'm sure I'd like it a bit at the least if I played it, I just never have.

It's like watching a great gangster movie, except being able to play it out instead of just watching it. Plus, even if you are not playing the actual campaign you can do whatever you want for fun.
