I am looking into buying another system, but can't decide between a PS3 or 360.
What I would like to know from 360 owners is a few things, talk about what comes with the console, good games out now or coming out soon and talk about 360's online etc. Ultimately it will probably come down to which exclusives I like better because most games are on both platforms.

Feel free to add more to those questions as they were only suggestions, I am just really stuck as to which console I should buy.

Definitely the 360 due to it's excellent game roster and the famous XBox Live. XBox Live is the best online service out of the 3 current consoles. Opinion? Yes it is, but millions would agree with me. It's great because there are no 12/16-digit friend codes to worry about, there is basically no lag and the setup/layout is extremely easy to use too. $59.99 USD will give you a 12-Month Xbox Live Premium Gold Pack.

Even though I don't have a 360, I agree with FR.

Though there is that RROD that you'll have to worry about. If you're going to get a 360, I suggest you get the Elite and make sure you get warranty as well.

Syntax also forgot to mention Bioshock, Mass Effect, and Lost Planet.

And Lost Odyssey! Plus various problems have been reported on the PS3 versions of things, like installation times for Devil May Cry 4 (around 20 minutes reportedly) and GTA 4 issues (such as needing to reinstall the game again).

Also, I do believe the newer versions of the Xbox are less likely to get RROD, so that's reduced.

They are less likely to get the RROD and will soon be releasing newer models with better CPUs.

if you wanna sit down watch you console do a system update for hours at end then ps3 is your system but if you like being entertained for countless hours then stick with a 360

Once gears of war2 comes out you may want to play that game... it's a lot better from what I've seen. I may get a 360 even with the RROD thing yet I think it's got like 3 years till the next one comes out so it'll be time to get a new one any way. But if you are a metal gear fan or like FF games then you should get that. All of the talk about the PS3s powers are hype seriously. If it wasn't for the RROD I think the xbox might have this gen for the HD console tied up. I'm a PC player too so I do keep up with that system since thats basically what it is. Hey but good luck man! Hey but if you have an ok PC go and pick up some PC games I'll be playing quake wars all day today maybe unless I go and get speed racer right now. O yeah there are some other games that almost got me to get one last year but they get no hype thus every one has forgot about them.

Guys, when giving info to people about a console, especially a person who does not own one. You really need to make sure you have your facts straight.

It's $49.99 for 13 Months of Xbox Live, not $59.99 for 12.

Also, Elite is not worth it's price. Elite is just a Premium thats black and more HDD space. No matter what anyone tells you, Elite's are not more reliable than the pro or even arcade, it's the same thing. So unless you plan on downloading a shitload of crap I don't recommend the Elite.

and yes, the newer consoles that are out now have a lower chance of getting RROD because it's internal components have been upgraded. But Elite, Pro's and Arcade are still the same thing, but with different accessories.

Also what WiitnessID says is true. This "PS3 has more power" is a load of crap. I have both, now the advantage PS3 has over 360 is two things. It can hold more space in it's disc so they can have more things going on at once, but not by much because this can screw up the framerate. 2nd is the fact that you can install some games on PS3 while 360 you cannot. But as for graphical power so far I have seen nothing on PS3 that looks special. MGS4 which I thought would look great, looks just like any other game. But who cares about graphics anyway...

and F pc games :P Alot of developers are starting to turn it's back on PC because of the huge piracy problems. Even Crytek has no longer going PC exclusive anymore.

Oh yea and Lost Odyssey, I forgot that one. LO seems to be the most underrated game for the 360 because all I see is people saying it's a great game and it was rated low because the reviewers think JRPG style is a thing of the past.

I thought that some of the Elite's and some of the Halo edition 360s came out with the Falcons.
