Its stupid as hell. Its going to lag like crazy using the crappy phone internet, you can't play games without a connection, and in order to change the game you have to physically put another disc in your 360, which is miles away. Whats the point of getting a portable console if its only good within your home....

None of the concepts pictured seemed to look even decent. If Microsoft does decide to enter the portable competition, I hope their design would look sleeker than the others. Not sure I would ever want to purchase one since I already have a PSP/DS which are both fine ATM.

That concept looks like a terrible translation of the DS into Microsoft form. I'm definitely thinking they shouldn't waste the R&D money on it, and should continue to work towards lowering the price of the 360 even more.

The article isn't related to the pictures. The pictures are other people's ideas, as you can see from the captions. The article is about designing a platform (or non-platform), not about the external appearance of the device.

I think this one is the best one. It may not be as compact, but it would make for some great gameplay. If they had one like this and actually had good games, I would get one.

Dual analog is what was prescribed in the piece.

I would love to see a portable Xbox. Just to be able to play some Halo with my friends during class. That would be the best!
Nice concepts btw. I do agree with both T3kNi9e and Wiinter with those being the best out of all of them.
