i don't know why you don't like the ladder system here. i find its good with little problems. it pratically runs itself.

make a challenge
if accepted then set up a time and fight, if rejected then oh well face someone else.
after the fight, both submit the score.
if they submit the same thing then the system updates the points. if not it notifies me so i can solve whatever the problem is.

it works really well and hasn't had any problems

i'm doing fine. got a couple matches coming up on the Brawl ladder here soon.
