3rd Party Gamecube controllers...

I just received gamecube controllers. however none of them work for my wii. I guess because they are 3rd party controllers. Is there anyway that I can make them work?

If they work in a gamecube they should work in the Wii. You are trying to use them on GameCube not Wii games aren't you?

i realized that i put it into 4th controller spot. i was stupid.

um i found out that the controller only works when they are plugged in to wii before turning the console on or else it wont recognize it . if i plug it out and in it wont get recognized. why is that? arggg.

I'm sure it's not that bad lol, better then them not working. Just hit the reset button lol, it's there for a reason.

I just also bought some 3rd party GC controllers (they were less than half the price of a official one) and when the second arrived, I plugged it in while I was on the menu of SSBM and it worked, so it should work if you plug it in after you turn it on. BTW, I'm glad you got it to work.

it should work im using ps2 controllers so 3rd party gamecube controllers should work
