a different wii sports problem

hi, i have looked but didnt find the answer,

i have had a wii 2nd hand for a few weeks with no problems,

suddenly today wii sports will not move with the sencer.

the remote and sensor are fine as i can use them in the main wii menu.

ive looked though the in game settings and found nothing in the lines of adjusting the movement sensor or the like.

i have tried the wii vertical and horizontal,

moved it away from everything (in the middle of the floor)

please help as my son is gutted

a couple of minor scratches but no more than normal, the system is not hacked

well then the game is a burned disc "wichi doubt" or your system was hacked, or your just suffering from infared problems or syncing problems.

its not a burned disc as far as i can see,

i haven't connected it to the net until after this problem, may of been before me though,

i have also formatted to try and reset the system.

i was thinking syncing probs but it isnt syncing at all
