About the first update

You shouldn't have stopped and started again.. sounded like it was doing fine before

What you should do is get out of the room. Go outside if its nice out, hang out with friends, etc...Give it some serious time to update. If it has not progressed like 1-2 hours later, then your internet connection is probably horrible, or you have a defective unit.

What I have is verizon online DSL with a LinkSys router and idk my modem..Its not incredibly fast, but I can't complain about the speed, I mean, my update took like 15 minutes. (using the WiFi MaX connector)

What I just did is the following :

- Turn off Wii.
- Turn off Modem.
- Turn off Router.
- Turn on Modem.
- Turn on Router.
- Turn on Wii.
- Re-started the update...

In about 2mins, i was at about 60%...

I guess I'll be okay now!

Yup. Solved.

Just played a bit of Excite Truck before going to work... IT OWNS!!

I have that issue too, sometimes things go really fast, sometimes they go really slow.
