Hello everybody

I know this may sound like a daft question but I was never into watching golf but enjoy the Wii Sports one. However I am a big fan of sports games, especially ones that take full advantage of the motion sensing on the Wii remote. So does anyone who does not take an interest in American football enjoy Madden 07 on the Wii?

I'm liking the reviews Madden 07 got and don't really have time for Zelda. Plus I'm going to exchange the Marvel game because it really wasn't my cup of tea, and Red Steel's had bad reviews. So if Madden isn't an option what else should I look to?

I got Red Steel today and it Rocks!

Official Nintendo Magazine gave it 91% and I agree it is good..

Madden seems cool and I've never watched NFL it's like 4 Hours per Game

I'll stick to Football 90 Minutes a Game please..

Madden does look good though. After Feb when I get Excite trucks (I live in UK) I think Madden is next

Tell me if it's good?

I'll try and post Pictures of my Nintendo Mag with the Red Steel review...

I live in Manchester too mate(although I'm actually a placcy scouser - don't tell anyone!) so will have to wait a while for other releases.

It's just the idea of forking out £40 on something I don't enjoy so I want to check all bases this time (Virgin will think I'm taking the p1ss if I exchange again having already exchanged Marvel!)

Virgin is the place in Manc. Gamestation is too small and the 2 Games are a rippoff. £33 for a Wiimote. They charge £3 extra on all Wii gear. The only problem with Virgin is the bags and what they have wrote on them lol..

Sh1t I never thought of it that way! (my phone's got 'Virgin' on it n'all lol!) The new Arndale megastore's pretty fine mind.

Having read some other posts as a fan of racing games I might get Need for Speed Carbon and maybe get a steering wheel off Ebay, rather than risk buying a game from a genre I might not enjoy.

Thanks for your help mate.

I don't think a review of a Nintendo product by a Nintendo magazine holds much water.:scared:

I don't particular like American Football but I do like sports games. I bought Madden 07 for the Wii and its absolutely ace in my opinion. Even my buddies like it!
Great controls!

I also want madden on the wii, cause of the controls, but im trying to get a cheap old versoin of nfl, to see if i actually lke the game, before i spend 40 quid on the game. i bought madden 2003 for xbox today (£4), to play on my 360, only to find out that only a few games are backwards compatible, so ill have to wait even longer to see if i like the game now :(
