Do you think that Sony could copy the Switch?

Sony have quite the track record for taking the successful Nintendo ideas and trying to make something of their own out of it. The vita has been a fairly big failure for them so i doubt they will make another. I saw a post about it where it discusses the potential application that a Playstation Switch could have. It does have some potential to run off on its own. Looking at the history of Sony and Nintendo, there is definitely no fear on Sonys behalf to blatantly copy their ideas.

What do you guys think, could Sony try and make their own version of the switch?
