According to this source of infos, non American media, developers, spokespeople, or anyone else are no longer allowed to go to E3. There's just not enough American game companies I like so this'll be the first e3 I'll be glad I'm not attending.

Australia and the rest of the non-American world has been locked out of the world's premier gaming expo.
The Australian games industry has been advised that it cannot send staff, journalists or retail partners to the E3 Media and Business Summit to be held in Santa Monica in July.
Chris Hanlon, CEO of the Interactive Entertainment Association of Australia, says this year's E3 is now "purely for the North American market and that other territories won't have the opportunity to directly participate as they have in the past".
