GameCube controllers still in production?

Do they still make them? Its not a problem for me because i have 7 (2 purple ones that game with it, 2 microcons i got for gifts, 1 silver and 2 black that came with my bros system) but i was wondering because games like Brawl coming out that will use just the gc controller would be pointless if new gamers or people that didnt own it before wanted to get them but the didnt make them anymore.

:idea: They could make white gc controllers that were bluetooth and had a home button in the middle.

Yes the are still being made. . .look on the shelfs at walmart, there is never a shortage of Wavebirds.

i thought alot of those were just ones they never sold lol. But what im talking about is years down the road (08, 09)when people will buy a wii when the price drops and there is a wider selection of games. Will they still be made then?

As long as their is a market for them, I don't see why they would stop making them.

this is true...i never own a gamecube and i bought 1 wavebird for my wii...so i can play gc games and i can use it as a second controller with my classic controller...

I don't like the GC/Old gen style controllers after Wii. Why can't they give it Wii (non motion sensing) controls?
