Hd Tv Is It Good

hi i have looked on the web and found this
hd ready tv.from amazon do you think it will be good to use with the wii

The Wii can't do HD, it can only do progressive scan and honestly it's not worth getting an HDtv over, heck not worth a 10 dollar component cable.

It cleans up the picture a bit, adds to the sharpness but it's not essential if you would only be purchasing it to aid the Wii experience. High definition is the future...very soon standard definition will be a thing of the past.

As Comonaut pointed out, high def IS the future, and with the Wii's capabilities, I would not be buying an HDTV for that reason. I already own an HDTV but want a bigger one. I personally am going to wait till 09 when the Fed mandates the new standard. I want to make sure there will be no hassles when that time comes.
