help with getting SD card into the slot

I just got an SD card and the 1st time I put it in the Wii it *clicked* in fine and dandy. I took it out then put it back in and I heard the *click* but the card wont stay in all the way. It will hang about half way out and refuses to go in.

Is the slot or the card busted?... or am I doing something wrong somehow...

I would guess you are putting the SD card in wrong........

Well this is the 1st time I ever used an SD card. I am putting it in with the label facing up(I have the wii horizontal). I know its the right kind of card(it is regular size, not mini/micro).
