how do you add a second controller to play a two player game

i have done that but it does not reconise it

also, try synchronozing the remote to the console (in other words, take off the battery cover on the remote, push the red button, and in the SD card slot on the Wii, push the button there)

that should work if that's what you're having trouble with. :E

i just used 2 gamecube controllers

I as well use two gamecube controllers. . .Wavebirds to be exact. Works without a problem.
