Mario party 8: new characters

I don't know if this is true but according to wikipedia there are two new characters to first appear as playable characters in the Mario Party series have been confirmed to be: Blooper and Hammer Bro.

Personal I would rather see ShyGuy in Mario Party 8 then Blooper, But thats just my opinion.

Nice find. It'll be odd seeing "Blooper" in there but maybe he will become a fan favorite?

I would think Goomba and Koopa would be new characters. Blooper though I think is random, Hammer Bro however will be a nice addition.

Ya, I also think Goomba and Koopa would make a great addition.
They are way more popular then Blooper.
