Nintendo has today launched its new Classic Controller Pro accessory for the Wii in the United States. Previously only available in Japan, the controller offers a fun new way for all kinds of Wii users to experience their favourite games. Featuring two rows of shoulder buttons and ergonomically designed grips, the Classic Controller Pro is compatible with more than 460 Wii, WiiWare and Virtual Console games. You can plug it directly into the Wii Remote controller to provide a unique control option for veteran gamers and newcomers alike.

The controller is available in black or white and carries a suggested retail price of $19.99. Gamers also have the option of buying a limited-edition product bundle that includes a black Classic Controller Pro and a copy of Capcom Entertainment’s long-awaited and critically acclaimed Monster Hunter Tri Wii game for a total cost of $59.99.

Its just a Gamecube controller with the Joystick and Control Pad inconveniently switched. I guess they also added a few buttons, but thats not really a big deal.

Im curious, is the Gamecube controller compatible with everything this thing is? Probably not.

looks more like a ps2 controller now. I bet it doesn't have the rumble function on it. but it looks hella bad ass

no it don't work as a gc controller and no rumble, but gosh it does feel nice to hold ... good buy with mh3.
