im totally clueless.... i just got a wii and i wanna play online/..... i know i ned a wireless router but how do u do all that stuff lik share miis and play online(what games play online??) and how to add friends???

Read the instruction manual. Since you know nothing of Online it's a good place to learn to basics

and if that doesnt work but a new router for it..

Get a wireless router, set up the router then connect to it through the Wii (it will detect the wireless connection automatically). After it finds the wireless signal, you can begin your online adventures.
