The green on munchlax doesn't match the Yanma body imo. Caterpie looks somewhat good like that though.

That's about as much as I got. A badass fighting landshark?

I took my inspiration directly from the original sprite

When you see them together it makes a bit more sense. I hope!

Then, using some sort of graphics program, cut, splice and re-colour them. [/ simple explanation]

How do you combine the sprites together to make a sprite? On the link you gave me it just shows regular sprites.
