Problem with Wii

Hi can anyone help I put my Wii fit disc into console today pressed A on remote all looked ok but on the wii fit picture on screen it started revolving but then it looks like it's going to load but then it's as if edge of disc is hanging out ,! Also the remotes will not work put new batteries in and they work as I can press the home button and they both respond but they do nothing else no cursors on screen so cannot try to see if can. Get I player .I have put another disc in and it's the same .Help Please
