Screwed Wii DVD drive

Hey Guys,

I'm in a bit of a fix. I wuz installing a modchip, which wuz no problem, but when I was closing the wii...I accidentally broke one of the dvd connector holders. I wanted to know if it is possible to get tht fixed or not. I checked and the rest of the system is fine and all I need is the DVD drive for the wii and if I can get one it shouldn't be problem for the rest of the system. Can any one tell me where I find a spare dvd drive for the wii :S. What should I do? I am so screwed!

Well, the dvd connector broke off the drive... In the image below, the connector in the yellow has broken off. what should i do?

My advice is to find someone with a bricked wii and buy their spair parts or call Nintendo and tell them "I took the Wii apart and broke a cable off, how much does it cost to fix"

You might be surprised at their response!

It isn't illegal. At least it isn't around here. It is only illegal if you play illegally acquired games.

why don't you just take out the mod chip and call up nintendo and say that the dvd connector is broken?

i think there is like a sticker or something that lets nintendo know if you too it apart or not.
