Super Mario Bros NES - No longer works?

Hi,

Ages (years) ago I bought NES Super Mario Bros virtual game, and it worked fine.

Recently when I try to play it, the screen goes blank, my TV says something about non compatibility, and then, nothing... until I hit the Menu button on the Wiimote, when it'll pop up with a screen showing the Wii menu button etc...

What on earth is going on?

My other virtual games work fine...

that is weird because i have super mario bros. and the second one and they both work

I was wondering if it was to do with changing to component cable.. or hdtv settting after getting the component cable... but haven't yet tried changing back to composite...

And the answer is...

Wii Component Cable Interlace mode

The mode can be enabled by accessing the operations guide of the game, and (with the Nunchuk attached) pressing the buttons Z + A + 2 simultaneously.

The mode can be disabled by using the same method, but with the button combination Z + A + 1 instead.
