Troubles with getting online (I've done it many times before)

My Wii recognized and connected to my router instantly. I was able to download updates such as the weather channel, and games from the Wii shop. However, now, when I try to access the internet, be it the wii shop, opera browser, or news channel update, it takes a very long time to find my wireless router, and the downloads dont move at all. Is there anything I should try doing to fix this? I haven't changed my wireless router at all, and I was able to connect and download flawlessly just weeks ago.

On another note, is there a way to check the IP of the Wii?
